Lego Constructors

My son pays little attention to Lego constructors I buy him. He looks at the constructor, plays with it few hours and that’s it. Sometimes he can play again in few weeks but most likely he forgets totally about it. I remember when I was a kid I was ready to give everything just to have one of these Lego miracles. But my family was poor and toys were not as abundant as now my son has.

Children are over satisfied in nowadays. What seemed to me greatest treasure in the universe now is small detail for them. I am not sure if this is right or wrong. Where is the goal where is the discipline. Satisfaction is enemy to these both. Maybe we need to educate our children not in abundance.

Morality and the Art

We need to be more released in our thoughts and in our morality. I saw one nude metal wall art in a friend of mine and I tried to avoid looking at it. I realized this later on. It is such hypocrisy. I like naked body. I enjoy looking at it and in the same time I find it embarrassing. The author of this art piece is happy man. If he can ease his mind look at the beauty and then create an art out of it then he is released from false burden of morality. I wish I was such a person too.

The Serial I Had Discovered

I have discovered a great serial. It is called The Sopranos. So far I had watched 2 seasons and I have seen they are six of them. It is fascinating story for a mafia boss. The story tells how even criminals are ordinary people with their ordinary problems and needs. It is really fascinating. I had watched the first two seasons non-stop. This weekend I plan to watch the third. If you had not seen this serial you can try it. For it is definitely interesting. The fate of the characters is presented very good and the actor’s play is without any remarks in one word – good movie.

Sun Is the Greatest of All

I have sun metal wall art in my kitchen. You may say kitchen needs flowers, grapes or some landscape or whatever. I think sun is perfect for kitchen. From all the symbols I can think of I believe Sun is the strongest from all. We all owe our lives to the Sun. If it was not the sun we won’t have energy to sustain our lives here on Earth. The same is wit the kitchen. If we do not eat we die. We live because we eat – kitchen is essential for our lives as the sun. My son says this is a weird logic. Weird or not it is logic and by the way this sun sculpture fits just perfectly on my wall.

I Missed Skiing

This winter I missed skiing. Too much work – too little free time and no option for vacation. I hate when this happens. Last winter it was the same. My boss promised me this year I will have my vacation but – No!, no vacation again. I have terrific job well paid but this lack of vacations when I want to have one is frustrating. I am desperate will I ever be able to see the snow again. I love skiing. I can do it a whole year if I had the time. I have a promise for the next season. Serious promise my boss will let me have my free days next winter. Let’s hope he will keep his word.

Too Much to Ask

I hope none of you has the pleasure to be an only woman in a household with three men. It is not fun no matter what you think about it. I have to tell them so many simple things and they can’t remember by birthday or understand my cravings for a little beauty in the apartment. I once wanted a sunshine metal wall art item, no matter which of the site I found with decoration. They were all beautiful. However, the expected question followed “What are we going to do with it?” How can they be so illiterate! You don’t play with art, you don’t clean with it and it doesn’t cook for you. The use you have for it is extremely mental and spiritual. I explained that to them and they dismissed me. So I bought an art item with my own money and hung it in the living-room so they could see it at all times!

Conspiracies –Monspiracies

The illuminati sign is on the one dollar bill. This great “conspiracy” is true sign taht they are among us and they secretly manipulate us. Who are “they”? Who are “us”? Can you tell me? For sure those crazy zealots of conspiracy theories can give you an answer of those questions but for a rational person this seems rather a fiction of sick brain or people without real occupation trying to get other’s attention. All the movies and articles they write about this is a crap. And I am beginning to get angry how people can be so dumb. Conspiracies – hah – total bullshits!!!

It Sounds Weird

When I hear “metal” I picture in my mind a solid heavy shiny piece of steel. Or piece of iron or else, but always solid dense and heavy. A friend of mine has metal cranes art in his place. This looks weird to me. Birds are light and delicate – opposite to metal. Metal can not fly. Metal can not swim neither, although they make ships out of metal and they swim. If he had boats metal art I still would think it is strange. If I dig deeper into that I can not imagine from what material bird sculptures should be done. Feathers are not an option, then from what?

The System Is not Working

In Japan there is a major situation with their Fukushima nuclear power plant. Nuclear power is something dangerous and we know this. Everyone can see now that there is something wrong, something very wrong. Japan has earthquakes and it is well known there is a great danger of big scale disasters there. Tsunami usually follows after the earthquakes – we know this too. If you construct something such dangerous as nuclear power station you MUST foresee the possible risks. And as I read about there were warnings about the security of Japan’s nuclear power stations. Why then measures have not been taken? Why we play with dangers? Why we make something not secure hoping that disasters won’t happen? I know why – because of economical interests. I can not describe the situation as just and good working system – can you?

I Like those Reunion Moments

My brother surprised me today. He was passing the town I live and she called me without a warning he comes to visit me. I had no time to prepare anything for his arrival. He just dropped by for an hour and gave me one metal dragonfly wall decor. I felt a bit embarrassed. I felt like I am empty handed. This is exactly my brother’s style – showing without warning. I have not seen him in live for more than two years. He made my day happy. I feel like I am recharged with energy. It is so nice to see close relatives. Life got our family separated. Everyone has an own life now but I miss them. And in those moments of reunion, being together even for an hour makes me feel the happiest person in the world.
